Have a portable toilet-related question? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!
Some folks locate us by searching Vango or Vangogh Restroom Trailers and portables in Nashville. You should find us either way!
We're familiar with our local portable toilet companies like Liberty Waste, Fusion Site Services, Stewarts Portable toilets and Kennedys. We maintain good relationships with all of them, but the VannGo team is the only 5 Star rated portable toilet and sanitation company in Nashville and Middle TN. Have a look at our customer reviews. We look forward to hearing from you and partnering with you!
Yes. We will email you a rental contract to sign once you confirm your event date(s) and which bathroom trailer rentals you need.
Each trailer requires a minimum 110v dedicated 20-amp power source within 100 feet of placement. If you do not have power available, we offer quiet convenient generators that you can rent with the unit. The generators will arrive full of fuel, but for long extended use, you will be responsible for refueling. During the winter months, the power requirements are increased for tank and water line heat.
Each unit requires a basic garden hose water faucet outlet within 50′ from the trailer. We leave the garden hose connected to the trailer during your rental.
During winter months, we will provide an anti-freeze hose, which requires a 110V power outlet nearby so we can plug it in. In the case where we cannot leave a hose connected to the trailer, our team will need to use your water outlet to fill the onboard tank with fresh water upon delivery (small additional fee). Then you can use the trailer without a hose connected.
If you're curious about restroom trailer rental logistics, please contact our team today.
The Transportation fee for a restroom trailer is $4 per mile (one way) from our facility for delivery within 50 miles. Any trailer rental outside of the 50 mile radius of our facility incurs an additional pickup fee of $4 per mile. Please contact us and provide the specific delivery address to determine your delivery charge.
The unit must be parked on a relatively level/flat surface, clear of trees and branches. The entry path to the setup location must have a minimum overhead clearance of 10′ from buildings and tree branches.
Typically, the restrooms are rented for short-term events. In this case, it’s not necessary to have the trailer pumped of sewage or refilled with fresh water during your event. Prior to your event, our team will discuss the approximate time frame of your event and approximate number of guests. The appropriate trailer will be set up by our team when we deliver it and removed upon completion of your event.
For larger events and long-term rentals, we can provide a restroom monitor/concierge. Otherwise it is the customers responsibility to monitor the overall usage and arrange for our pumping service prior to the restroom overflowing with sewage. Our team can explain the best procedure for this.
The below text is from the ADA website.
“If portable toilets are provided for use by event participants, a minimum of five percent of all units, but never less than one unit, must be accessible. Where clusters of portable units are provided at various locations around the event site, five percent of the units in each cluster should be accessible. They should be equipped with all the accessible elements required by the standards, such as maneuvering space, grab bars, toilet paper dispensers within reach, etc. In addition, when all units are not accessible, the International Symbol of Accessibility must be posted on the units that are.”
Toilet Room Clear Floor Space
“Toilet rooms must have a 5-foot diameter clear floor area to allow someone in a wheelchair to turn around or a 3-foot wide T-shaped clear floor area to allow for a three-point turn.”
Toilet Room Doors and Vestibules
“Doors should provide a 32-inch clear opening to accommodate people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids.“
